Kristen Bell, Will Ferrell & More Read Mean Tweets Aloud & It's Hilarious (VIDEO)

Twitter had its sixth anniversary recently, and Jimmy Kimmel had a genius idea for commemorating the occasion. He asked a bunch of his celebrity buddies (including Will Ferrell, Kristen Bell, Kevin Nealon, Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Anna Faris, and more) to read aloud some of the mean, offensive, or just plain dumb tweets that had been sent to them by Twitter "fans."

Kimmel started by saying, “One of the interesting things about Twitter is that it connects celebrities to their fans and vice versa. (...) Your message goes directly into their computer or into their pocket, which can be good ... and it can also be bad.”

Happily for the purposes of our entertainment, the tweets he chose for the segment were all of the bad variety. And the subsequent video of celebs reading these tweets aloud? PRICELESS.

Set to REM's "Everybody Hurts," here's a collection of Hollywood stars reacting to the mean-spirited tweets sent their way:

These are all so great I'm not sure which one I love most. Maybe Kristen Bell's fake upset over being called unattractive. Or Kevin Nealon agreeing that he does, in fact, suck big fat balls. Or Will Arnett pondering about why he looks like Dracula—is it his hair line, or his teeth?

You know, I've always wondered if celebrities actually read the obnoxious tweets that are constantly aimed at them, and I'm sure the answer depends on the celebrity in question and how busy they are. After watching Kimmel's hilarious video, however, I'm totally going to picture every A-lister who ever gets an @ mention reacting to the insult—while sitting on a toilet.

How funny is this video? Do you have a favorite from the bunch?
