Khloe Kardashian Chooses Kim Over PETA After Flour Bombing Debacle

khloe kardashianKhloe Kardashian is giving PETA the metaphorical middle finger (with a leather, fur-lined glove, of course) for applauding the flour bomber who attacked Kim Kardashian last week. Christina Cho, the woman who dumped the white powder on Kim, is reportedly affiliated with PETA, and moreover, the organization is actually expressing anger over Kim's possible decision to press charges against her, stating that such a move would serve as a reminder "of her selfish, callous disregard for the cruel deaths that she causes by wearing fur." What?

Anyway, Khloe's choosing family over PETA. And she expressed her reasoning quite eloquently. She wrote on her blog:

I’ve been a vocal supporter of PETA for a long time but I have also been very vocal about anti-bullying, so this was a huge disappointment for me. I personally don’t wear fur but that doesn’t mean I am going to force my views on anyone else, ESPECIALLY by violating them. I will still continue to NOT wear fur, but I will no longer support PETA. Bullying and harassment is NEVER a solution, and I won’t be a part of any organization that thinks otherwise.

Well-said. And good decision. What Cho did to Kim was bullying, and I think it's more important for Khloe to stand by her sister right now than to support PETA. Especially since she's not changing her beliefs. It speaks volumes as to the kind of (normal, supportive) person she is -- and volumes as to the way PETA treats their supporters.

So, dumb move on PETA's part. As usual. Their radical, belligerent behavior not only makes them look ridiculous and totally irrational, it cost them one of their star spokespeople.

Do you think Khloe was right to cut ties with PETA?
