'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Preview Includes Misogyny & Fat Jokes (VIDEO)

teresa giudiceGet out your polarized sunglasses, your earplugs, and a giant glass of wine because The Real Housewives of New Jersey are coming back to TV on April 22. The too-tan ladies with the high-pitched, screeching voices are returning to Bravo to give us all the drama we've been missing. Jacqueline Laurita's back (I thought she quit?) and so are Teresa Giudice, Caroline Manzo, Melissa Gorga, and Kathy Wakile. Same with the kids and the husbands. Even though this show is slowly ruining their lives, they've all signed up for more, and I couldn't be more pleased about it.

There's an allusion to a stripper past (Melissa was a dancer! Shocking!), there's a question about Joe Gorga's sexuality, there's a child screaming that she's been tortured, there's a fat joke, there's blatant misogyny, there's talk of forgiveness, there's evidence of backstabbing, and by god, there are boobs. So many boobs in so many glittery tops. It's Jersey at its best.

After this lackluster Orange County season, I think we're all ready to turn up the heat Franklin Lakes style. The Jersey girls are by far the most ridiculous in the whole series -- even Caroline, who pretends to be some wise old owl, is actually bat shit crazy. It's wonderful.

There's someone noticeably absent from the preview, and that's Jacqueline's daughter, Ashley. Thank god she's not on this season, right? It was becoming too hard to watch her self-destruct around her enabling parents.

And once again, Teresa seems to be at the center of the storm, whirling around, whipping her hair and a designer handbag she can't afford around until it hits someone and a fight begins. She may not be the brightest crayon in the box, but she certainly knows how to get camera time, I'll give her that.

Check out the preview and sound off: Are you excited for the fourth season of the RHONJ?
