Kim Kardashian's Problem With Plastic Surgery Billboard Makes Perfect Sense

kim kardashianKim Kardashian has loaned her likeness to many products, from diet pills to women's clothing, perfume to shoes. But one thing she has yet to shill for is a Mexican plastic surgeon. Hence why one Dr. Victor Ramirez from Mexico is likely in a lot of trouble, as soon as Kim's lawyers get ahold of him. See, the doctor is advertising right near the Mexico-California border with a billboard, which reads "no arriesgue su belleza, ni su salud" (translation: "Don't risk your beauty or your health") and displays Kim in a bikini. Pretty much completely out of line ... and out to lunch! Who does this guy think he is?

Did he really think he'd be able to use Kim's photo on his billboard without her permission? Was he just thinking, "Eh, whatever, I'm in Mexico, she's in Bev Hills or NYC, no one will notice, ¡no es nada!" If so, that was damn silly. Because no matter what Jon Hamm thinks of her, this woman is business savvy.

And it sounds like her lawyers are currently working on a plan to have the billboard removed ... or ELSE!

Unsurprising, right? I would imagine that if anyone dare slap her face, body, likeness, or anything else "KK"-branded on their product without explicit permission from Team Kardashian, she will get you. It's a wonder this billboard hasn't already been taken down! Especially because Dr. Ramirez got a call from TMZ, who asked him if he got Kim's permission. He said, "Obviously I did not speak to Kim Kardashian. I do not have her number." Ha, how quaint! TMZ told Ramirez that in the U.S., you can't use someone's picture without permission. His response: He said he'd get police involved, then hung up. Oh boy.

Well, international issues aside, I kinda hope this gets taken care of in two seconds flat for Kim's sake. Say what you want about the woman's reality TV shows and 72-day marriages, but when it comes to her actual image, she's got the right to stand up and say, "I do not advocate plastic surgery ... on billboards in Mexico!"

Do you support Kim's effort to have the billboard removed?
