Lea Michele’s On-Set Engagement Ring Doesn’t Mean Rachel Says Yes (VIDEO)

Rachel and Finn on 'Glee'I've got to admit: when Finn (Cory Monteith) got down on one knee last week and proposed to Rachel (Lea Michele) I was really freakin' surprised. Not in any of the spoilers had I seen anything about Finchel's big proposal! Now, I've racked my brain trying to figure out all of the potential plot lines surrounding the two lovebirds, and to be honest -- I think it could go either way. Yes? No? I can't wait to find out!

Well my fellow gleeks, hold onto your schoolbooks because there's some new evidence pointing out what Rachel's big answer is. Trust me, it's pretty convincing.

Warning: Possible spoiler ahead!

Rachel seems a little conflicted in the teaser for next week's big Michael Jackson episode, but Lea was recently spotted walking around on set wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger! Can you say "SHE SO TOTALLY SAID YES?!"

Okay. Maybe I'm getting a little bit ahead of myself. There are a whole slew of reasons why she could be wearing the ring on set ...

1. She said yes: This would be the best one. I mean come on, who doesn't want to see a successful tale of two high school sweethearts fall in love and make a home? I love it!

2. She's seeing what it would feel like: We all know that Rachel Berry is a bit of a perfectionist. I could see her agreeing to marry Finn, but only if the ring feels right. That girl is all about her inhibitions. I could also totally see her giving him the ring back if it doesn't shine the right way when she wears it with all of her fave cardigans.

3. She could have worn it for a dream sequence: Glee likes to do that every once in a while. Finn's big question has got to be the biggest thing on Rachel's mind, meaning she's always thinking about it. It's only natural for her to dream about what their life together would be like.

4. She wants to see what her dads think: We know that sometime soon we are meeting Rachel's two dads. Maybe she wants their approval before agreeing to be Finn's lifelong partner.

5. Lea Michele could ACTUALLY be engaged: Lea and her longterm boyfriend Theo Stockman supposedly broke up back in September. Maybe it could of been a media cover-up that things were getting really, really serious. OK, it's the least likely of 'em all. I'm still secretly hoping her and Cory Monteith shack up in the real world!
