Ryan Murphy Better Not Disrespect 'Glee' Cast

Glee cast

The kids of Glee always look like they're having a blast when they're all together. But what if I were to tell you that, no, it's not all fun and games on set at McKinley High? I know, I had a tough time believing it too. Who wouldn't love hanging out with Cory Monteith or Dianna Agron for a day?

Allegedly the show's creator Ryan Murphy, that's who. A source told Us Weekly that "things are really bad on set. The cast talks about how much they love Ryan, but they have grown to hate him."

Uht-oh. Nobody likes a bully, Ryan.

Apparently, that's not even the worst of it! Us Weekly's source said that when Lea Michele told Murphy that she didn't want to go on the cast's 2011 multi-city tour, Murphy threatened to fire one of her friends! GASP! I'm beyond shocked.

Whether or not all of these accusations are true, I just can't imagine that the man would have the audacity to treat members of the Glee cast like this. Yes, Ryan Murphy is the brains behind the show; Glee wouldn't have been such a huge success in the first place if it weren't for him. However, the cast is what has made the show as outrageously successful as it is.

There are thousands of talented writers and producers in Hollywood, but there's only one Chris Colfer and one Amber Riley. Without these great actors, who the Glee franchise essentially relies on, the show would most definitely suffer. Not to mention, the fans would be devastated.

If indeed Ryan has a problem treating the cast with respect, then it's going to be him that gets hurt in the long run if they choose to leave the show because of it. One thing's for sure, though: Glee fans won't let any of their faves go without a fight.

Do you believe that things are rough on the Glee set? What would you do if your favorite Gleeks left the show?
