Brad & Angelina Should Have More Kids, the Duggars Shouldn’t

angelina jolie and brad pittIt seems the older Brad Pitt gets, the more candid he becomes. First, there was the whole Marriage to Jennifer Aniston Was Boring comment, now there's this: Brad revealed that he isn't sure he and Angelina Jolie are done having kids. The actor recently told E! Online, "You know, I don’t know that we’re finished. I don’t know yet. I don’t know." Well, if you ask me, this is basically as good as Angie peeing on a First Response stick in front of us. You hear that folks? Brad and Angelina may bequeath another perfect child to this earth.

Personally, I'm all for it. I mean, who wouldn't be? It'll be another adorable baby to melt our hearts while we thumb through an US Weekly at the grocery checkout. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love Kingston, Shiloh, and Suri, but ... I could use someone new.

And, like most things here on The Stir, it brings to me another, unrelated issue: Why it's okay for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to have more kids, but not the Duggars.

One word for you: Adoption. Brad and Angelina have already rescued not one, not two, but three children from lives of poverty. They've helped out children -- who already existed -- instead of just further overpopulating the world. They've done their civic duty, if you will. Oh, and let's not forget, the Jolie-Pitts only have six kids, the Duggars 20.

Big families are great. I love them. In fact, coming from a smaller family, I've always been jealous of them. But it seems like, I don't know, if you're a rich, famous couple (it's been predicted that the Duggars pull in between $25,000 to $40,000 an episode), and you want more kids, you should adopt. Because it's the right, kind thing to do.

So, if Brad and Angelina want to pop out more babies, I say go for it, guys. You've both done way more for unfortunate children than I -- or the Duggars -- ever will.

Do you think Brad and Angelina should have more kids? Do you think the Duggars should quit already?
