Bieber Fans Are Wrong to Threaten Alleged Baby Mama's Life

justin bieber paternity Mariah Yeater seems to have found herself in between a rock and a hard place, and honestly I feel bad for her. Whether or not the startling allegations she made against Justin Bieber -- saying he's the father of her 3-month-old son, Tristyn -- are true, I don't think she deserves all of this backlash. The 20-year-old mom is receiving tons of death threats from Beliebers on Twitter. And some of the messages are downright frightening!

Most of the messages look a little something like these:

@AnkitaKejriwal7: I HATE MARIAH YEATER. LOSER WHO WANTS ATTENTION. GO DIE!

@tyloturner09: Mariah Yeater, what drugs are you on?! Justin Bieber is not your baby's daddy. Go fall in a hole and die, you screwed up freak.

@BiebsSunshine: Maria Yeater ... no ... its my child! GRRR F@!* YOU SLUT! DIE DIE DIE! I'm SAD OF YOUR CHILD WHO HAS A MOTHER LIKE YOU!

I get it. You're all angry. However, there's a huge difference between being a supportive, dedicated Bieber fan and wishing someone would die.

As a former teenybopper myself, I understand what it's like to have a massive crush on a celebrity hunk. (Hell, I still swoon every time I see Justin Timberlake.) I am, however, realistic and rational and understand that sex scandals and paternity suits happen all the time in Hollywood. It's an unfortunate part of the territory that comes with being a public figure with a whole lot of money. Justin said himself on the Today show this morning that he understands as a big celeb, he's a target. But he's not wishing that Yeater roll over and die! The fans should take notes on his admirable level of maturity.

Note to Bieber fans: Saying she's wrong for potentially lying about what happened with Justin is one thing, but threatening her life is a whole unnecessary other.

Do you think Justin Bieber fans are taking things too far?
