'DWTS' Results Recap: Chaz Bono Beats Haters

DWTSIt was a big night for the DWTS cast who had their first elimination of Season 13, and for me, the elimination was perfect. This season has a lot of people who are going to be fun to watch, but if someone had to go, the right one was sent home according to my interest.

Rob Kardashian, Nancy Grace, and Ron Artest were in the bottom three in a show that included performances from Harry Connick, Jr. and LMFAO. Of course, the "bottom three" doesn't necessarily mean all three were actually at the bottom, but judging from the Monday night dances, those are the three who deserved it.

See who went home after the jump:

In the end, it was basketball player Artest (ahem, Metta World Peace) who went home and it seemed like the best thing for everyone. Artest seemed a little too crazy for the show and that is kind of saying a lot.

But seriously, he is a guy whose history includes fighting with fans in the stands. I'm not convinced that a live studio audience is the greatest plan for Artest. I won't be shedding many tears for him.

Meanwhile, Artest himself acted like he won. He started cheering and stomping around like Nancy Grace had lost. Clearly the man was a bit unhinged. So, good riddance! I am excited for this season.

My current favorites are Kristin Cavallari, Chaz Bono, JR Martinez, Carson Kressley, and Ricki Lake. Did I just name them all? Oops! I can't help it.

Honestly, after Elisabetta Canalis, Nancy Grace, and Rob Kardashian (the logical next three departures) leave, I am going to be bummed every Tuesday night. So, Artest is gone, but a great cast is left. I can't wait until next week!

Do you think the right person went home?
