Bethenny Frankel Gets Lost at Sea, and We Can’t Wait to Watch

bethenny frankelBethenny Frankel's life never ceases to amaze. A self-made woman who seems to have it all -- adoring husband, cute baby girl, hundreds of millions of dollars in the bank -- she's been riding high now for a few years. This weekend, however, her luck turned. Bethenny, along with husband Jason Hoppy and 10 other passengers, including Bravo TV camera crew members, were sailing to Nantucket, Massachusetts when misfortune struck. The journey was supposed to be an easy eight-hour cruise, but it quickly turned into a 20-hour nightmare when the boat's GPS went out, a rogue wave crashed into them, and the captain had to call in the Coast Guard for help.

Now sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip, that started from this tropic port, aboard this tiny ship ... the weather started getting rough, the tiny ship was tossed. If not for the courage of the fearless crew, Bethenny Frankel would've been lost. Bethenny Frankel would've been lost.

Bethenny recounted the horror to E!:

We were in the middle of the deep sea with no land or anybody near us. The captain had never, in 30 years, called the Coast Guard. It was so scary. I was thinking, Oh, my God, Bryn! I'm not going to be there at six o'clock in the morning when she wakes up and she's going to wonder where Mommy is, and gosh, if something were to happen to me, what would happen to her. I was having horrendous thoughts.

Can you imagine how Bethenny was handling all this trauma? Thankfully, we'll probably get our answer. Since Bravo cameras were on board filming her show that will likely be called Bethenny Goes to L.A., we will hopefully get to see all the drama unfold from the comfort of our living rooms this winter.

They got lost soon after they left Block Island off of Long Island, New York, when the GPS malfunctioned. I can't wait to hear Bethenny's quips blaming the captain for all their problems while she swigs out of a Skinnygirl Sangria bottle to try and calm her nerves. Then there will be Jason, telling 'Mama' to calm down, per usual.

But we know Bethenny -- if she was able to come off Scary Island without any permanent scars, she'll be able to walk away from this fiasco unscathed.

I'm so glad it was caught on film everyone is safe!

Do you think this inevitable "Lost at Sea" episode will be her best show yet?
