Bethenny Frankel's Novel Better Dish About 'Housewives'

bethenny frankelBethenny Frankel just looooves wearing different hats. One day she's wearing a reality-star hat, next she's wearing a cook's hat, next she's wearing an ice skating hat, then a mom one, then a "Skinny" one, then a wife one. And know something? I love her for it. She's a tightly wound ball of comebacks and talent and I can't get enough of any product she throws out there. Which is why I'm excited she's putting on her writer's cap for another book.

It's not a cook book or a self-help book or a tell-all (I wish!), nope! It's fiction. Bethenny has signed a deal to pen three novels, the first of which is due out this spring.

Like I said I'm a fan of the woman so I'm excited ... especially after she said:

It's about a girl's journey and what she wants, and trying to have it all. It's about the lessons and the people along the way, about naysayers and rising above. There will be a lot of juiciness and people wondering what it's based on and if any of it was influenced by my life.

It better be based on her life! I want dirt. I want to learn through this book what life was really like on the Housewives. If there's a woman in the novel named Zill Jarin, I wouldn't complain. In fact, I'd love it. What if Bethenny's book turns out to be a Jill Zarin burn book? This is getting all too exciting all too fast.

The 40-year-old mother and margarita mogul's first book will be titled Skinny Dipping and will likely hit shelves sometime in April. How she's going to get around to writing a novel between now and then is beyond me -- her third reality show called something like BethennyGoes to LA is filming now through December , she's got Skinny products coming out the wazoo like shape-wear, skin cream, and juice cleanses, so I really don't see where writing a novel come in.

But I guess that's what good ghostwriters are for. If Lauren Conrad's LA Candy can make the best-sellers list, I think Beth should hire LC's writer -- clearly he or she did a great job.

Will you read Bethenny's novels?
