'True Blood' Recap: The Threesome We've All Been Waiting For!

eric sookie billAdmit it: Ever since Eric and Sookie first made eye contact, back when Ms. Stackhouse officially belonged to Bill, you've been waiting for the inevitable to happen. After all, there's only one logical solution to a two-part vamp, one-part faerie love triangle ... a supernatural menage-a-trois! Why Sookie and Co. didn't come to this conclusion long ago, I don't have the slightest idea. But tonight, at last, in Episode 45: "Let's Get Out of Here," Eric and Bill deigned to feast on Sookie buffet-style ... sorta kinda.

Are you freaking out?! I was, too! Especially since Eric and Bill were so agreeable to the idea. So willing to share! Of course, there is one crucial detail I haven't mentioned yet ...

Turns out the sexy scenario was all in Sookie's dreams. (For now, at least.) Sookie couldn't help it, of course. With Eric under Marnie's spell and Sookie half-dead from last week's gunshot to the gut, Bill had no choice but to step in and offer Sookie his own magical blood.

And naturally, with both Eric and Bill's blood coursing through her veins, Sookie was bound to dream about having both of her boys at the same time. But the most revelatory part of the dream sequence (which wasn't all that revelatory, really, since Sookie was the only one to strip down to her skivvies) was hearing Sookie admit that she loves Eric and Bill.

Not that this really tells us anything about the future. By the bloody conclusion of "Let's Get Out of Here," Eric was more out of it than ever, on a Marnie-induced mission to take down the king he pledged allegiance to just last week. (So much for "vampire tolerance," Nan!) Did Sookie's screams signify a switch back to Team Bill?

From the preview of next week's episode, there's no telling WTF is going to happen! (Apart from Debbie reverting back to her trashy ways and Terry going apesh*t on Andy for some reason. Which should be extremely fun to watch.)

Whatever's in store, I hope it includes the demise of Marnie/Antonia, who has ceased to be intimidating or entertaining. I am so over it.

What's your prediction for next week's episode?
