Kim Kardashian's Wedding: 10 Details We Know So Far

kim kardashian weddingThere is one good thing about the fact that summer's winding down: The Kardashian wedding is almost here! Just five days away on August 20, reality star and entrepreneur extraordinaire Kim Kardashian and basketballer Kris Humphries will tie the knot. It feels like just yesterday the twosome announced their engagement! I kan hardly keep my kalm I'm so pumped!

While Kim and Kris may have been able to keep their venue in Montecito, California under wraps, the rest of the details revolving around their wedding weekend are out. Check out 10 things we already know about the upcoming Kardashian wedding this Saturday.

1. Kim's dress will be made by Vera Wang. Like Khloe, Kim's planning on wearing Vera on her big day. In fact, she took a red-eye to New York City over the weekend for her final fitting with the designer.

2. The bridesmaids dresses are green. Kourtney Kardashian tweeted the color to her followers just last week. I'm in favor, I think the Kardashian klan's Armenian skin tone will look fab on an emerald shade.

3. This wedding will be better than her last. Kim's first marriage to music producer Damon Thomas didn't exactly end well. But this time around, Kimmy's older, wiser -- and, well, spending a whole lot more money!

4. The guest list is star-studded. There are so many A-listers coming to the wedding, it may as well be an awards show. Justin Bieber, J. Lo, Jay-Z and Beyonce, and Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith will be in attendance. And that's just the beginning.

5. You're invited. Well, sort of. A casual month and a half after the event, Kim's wedding will be televised on E! in a two-part special titled Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event. I'm surprised this wasn't a live special, personally.

6. Kim's family helped her pick out the cake. Kim, her fiance, Kris, Khloe, and Rob all went to Hansen's bakery in Los Angeles for the cake tasting.

7. The first dance will be a waltz. The duo has been working diligently with Dancing With the Stars pro Mark Ballas. After seeing how shy Kim was about her dancing skills on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, it's a good thing!

8. Kim's super fit and lovely. The reality star has enlisted two trainers to help her in the gym in the weeks leading up to her ceremony. She's also cut out fatty foods and sugar. Sounds like she's really shedding for the wedding, eh?

9. Expect a name change. Sources close to Kim say that she'll totally be changing her last name to Humphries after the big "I do." She'll always be a Kardashian to me ... and all of her other bajillion fans.

10. There won't be a honeymoon right away. I know, bummer, right? The couple won't "have time for one right away," but when they do venture off -- I bet they'll go somewhere really kool. Like on a kruise.

Are you looking forward to the Kardashian wedding?
