Prince Harry's Double Denim Look Is NOT Charming

prince harry double denimMaybe it's because he's the only son of Charles and Di who is single at this point, but I don't really see the tremendous attraction to Prince Harry. Or perhaps it's also because he's always seemed like an annoying little brother type to me. His attitude just rubs me the wrong way, and I don't see him as a Prince Charming like his older brother. (Maybe Prince Mischievous.) Nonetheless, I get that there are people out there who think the cheeky younger prince is hot. But you know what isn't and NEVER will be sexy? DOUBLE denim!

Ew, ew, ew. While in Scotland for The Royal Wedding Part 2, or the nuptials of Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall, Harry was spotted leaving Holyroodhouse Palace in Edinburgh wearing one of the hugest fashion faux pas I can think of: a denim button-down shirt (which he seems to love -- in photo here, he's wearing it at another event), plus, wait for it ... jeans! Gaaaah. Make it stop.

Sure, it was the morning after the wedding, and he was probably hungover (perhaps, knowing Harry's rep, even doing a "walk of shame" from some pretty bridesmaid's room?), but no, that look is NEVER okay. It actually, literally skeeves me out ... makes me cringe.

I know, I know. He's a Prince, and not just a Prince, he's Prince Harry, so I'm sure there are many women who would be fine with him wearing a burlap sack and nothing else, who cares, right? But even for him ... double-denim is a hell no-no.

Maybe it's because it reminds me of old Marlboro Man ads? Or the '80s? But a denim shirt alone feels super dated, really old-school in a so off-trend way. But alright, paired with khakis? I can handle that. Over jeans is just on a planet worse than the extras' outfits in the original Footloose!

Yes, you get it. I hate the look. Harry can do better, and I'm sure this was a temporary slip-up. For not exactly having a personal stylist and, for the most part, being a "regular" guy who just happens to be a royal, he does okay. PLUS ... at least the double-denim look is NOWHERE near as offensive as that horrendous Nazi costume he sported several years ago!

What do you think about the double-denim look?
