I often turn on her sophomore album, Back to Black, and enjoy every ounce of female empowerment, topped off with raspiness and soul. After hearing the news of Amy Winehouse's death on Saturday, I felt utterly shocked and was left wanting more. Not surprisingly, I wasn't alone.

Without a doubt, Winehouse has left a huge mark on the entertainment industry, well beyond her iconic beehive hairstyle. Soon after the news spread across the world, loads of celebrities began paying tribute to the "Rehab" singer with tweets, written remembrances, performances, and interviews. And the musical tributes followed suit.
