Next year will mark the 75th anniversary of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), and to kick off its celebratory year, there are officially three Snow White movies in the works right now. Can you believe it? Some of the A-List names already cast include Kristen Stewart, Julia Roberts, and Charlize Theron.

But which Snow White film is going to be the best? Who will play Snow White best? Which Evil Queen will bring on the best evil? And what about the Dwarfs? Which film will make those little guys the most awesome?

Let's look at what we know so far about each of the three Snow White films in the making so you can decide.

Snow White and the Huntsman

This Universal Pictures version of Snow White is farthest along, in terms of what we know about casting, and it seems to have the biggest names all around. Kristen Stewart is playing Snow White, and Chris Hemsworth (The Avengers, Thor) will play the Huntsman. Charlize Theron has signed on to play Ravenna the Evil Queen and Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) will play Prince Charmant. The Dwarfs are also cast and include the likes of Eddie Izzard as Tiberius and Bob Hoskins as Constantine. Yep, the traditional Dwarf names have been changed. We also found out today that Sam Spruell (Elizabeth: The Golden Age) will play Finn, the Queen’s henchman sent to kill Snow White and the Huntsman, and model/actress Lily Cole (The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus) will play the role of Greta, but her role is unclear. Rupert Sanders will be making his directorial debut. Due out in theaters in June 2012.

The Brothers Grimm: Snow White

Julia Roberts will play the Evil Queen in Relativity Media's version while Lily Collins plays Snow White and Armie Hammer plays the prince. They have cast seven little-people actors, who are rumored to have creative Dwarf names as well. Tarsem Singh (The Fall, The Cell) is directing a screenplay written by Melisa Wallack. Due out in theaters in March 2012.

Snow and the Seven

So far, we know the least about Disney's version. All we really know is they have Oscar-nominated writer Michael Arndt (Toy Story 3) on board, and the film will be set in China (China!). Natalie Portman was rumored to be starring as Snow, but no word if they are still in talks. Due out in theaters in 2013.

I have to say I think I'm most excited for Snow White and the Huntsman, which sounds the most dark and psychologically thrilling. Of course, I'm loving that Disney is creating a big twist on the original ho-hum story.

Are you excited for this onslaught of Snow White films?
