'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' Season 6 Premiere Recap: Game Night or Bust

Keeping Up With the KardashiansKris Humphries made his debut on Keeping Up With the Kardashians tonight, and we got to see him burp his way into Kim's heart. From the opening line in which Kim declared that they were "officially boyfriend and girlfriend," it's clear this season is going to be all about their blossoming romance.

Until tonight, I'd only really seen pictures of Kris and never heard him speak much. Now it could have been the burping, and it was his first show,  but I'm hoping he's got a little more personality to put out there than we saw tonight.

He's definitely better than Scott Disick by a mile no matter what, and I'm not dissing him (though I do HATE that part of the promo in which he calls Rob "son"). Kim clearly is in love, which is great; I guess I was just expecting to feel all warm and fuzzy when I saw them interact (like I do when I see Khloe and Lamar together), and that feeling wasn't overly palpable. Hopefully that will change as the season progresses and we see more of him rather than just the brief grunting we got tonight.

Khloe also had trouble warming up to their relationship off the bat, as Kim is a notorious relationship hopper. Khloe doubted this one was going to last, even though Kim was already talking about their wedding and baby names that start with "K". They hashed it out; Khloe threw things; and Kim tried to convince her this time was different ... which we now know is true. (This would all be so much better in real time, no?)

Meanwhile the rest of the family was having trouble finding any time for family time. With business booming, and mama Kris Jenner pimping out the girls to any product that needs pimping, well, there's just not much time for family game night. There are Kardashian Silly Bandz to be sold, after all.

When Kourtney and Scott Disick tried to host a game night at their new digs, the showing was dismal. Khloe and Bruce Jenner were about the only ones who showed. Kris Jenner sent a re-gifted candle, and Kim was in New York. No one really expected Rob to show up anyway. It was a bust and all Kris Jenner's fault, according to Khloe and Kourtney, who set out to teach her a lesson.

They stood her up for a client meeting, which sent her teeth clenching and temper flaring. In the end, however, it was the wake-up call she needed to set family time as a priority. She dubbed Sunday night family dinner night, hired some chefs, and vowed to put business aside once a week to make time for this. My guess is that will last until the next time business calls, but it's a nice effort. Kris Jenner's drunken toast and Kim falling on her ass at the end as she raced off to call Kris Humphries just added to the whole kraziness we love from this family.

What did you think of the premier episode of this season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians? What did you think of Kris Humphries' debut?
