Kim Kardashian Has the Right to Be a Bridezilla

Khloe Kardashian has never particularly struck me as the smartest of the Kardashian Klan, but I'll give her this: she's got a savvy outlook about getting involved with Kim Kardashian's upcoming wedding to Kris Humphries. Knowing full well that Kim is likely to be obsessed with fine-tuning every detail, Khloe says she doesn't want anything to do with her sister's bridezilla madness.

According to Khloe, "If I do one thing wrong, I'll be screwed"—and I believe her. I mean, what are the chances of Kim Kardashian hosting a super laid-back wedding on a beach somewhere, with Evite invitations that say "BYOB"?

Not only is Kim richer than God, she's built an entire (wildly successful) career around her own image. She represents luxury, fashion, beauty, and MONEY. Why wouldn't her wedding be exactly as over the top as she is?

For a woman who makes millions from endorsement deals, it's practically a requirement for her wedding to be the kind of affair that she can turn around and sell to the highest bidder. You know we'll be seeing the giant KIM'S LAVISH DREAM-COME-TRUE WEDDING DAY!! multi-page spread in People, with all the loving details about the dress, the flowers, and whatever platinum-encrusted rare giraffemeat caviar appetizers everyone eats at the A-list-studded reception.

I suppose Kim could just have a celebrity wedding planner manage the whole thing while she lies back and gets another mink-lined pedicure or whatever, but with her brand tied so closely to her own lifestyle, I doubt she will. Planning this wedding is like planning out the next stage of her career, the launch of her persona as a married woman. I'm guessing that some KardashiBridezilla moments are pretty much unavoidable.

As Khloe said, "Kim goes big. It's not going to be small. And I joke and I say it will be like the Royal Wedding, but she is just like that."

Yep. If I were her, I'd definitely keep any offers to help to myself.

Do you think Kim Kardashian will have an insanely huge wedding, or will she surprise us all with something more informal?
