Lindsay Lohan Victimized by Gwyneth Paltrow?

Any likability points Lindsay Lohan may have earned by gamely mocking herself in a skit that played during the VMAs ("Do you think anyone wants to work with a drunk? Take it from me -- they don’t!") have been removed by her current status, which, if expressed by an animated SweetPea emoticon here at The Stir (because that seems to adequately encapsulate her acting range), would surely be the little thumbs-down eye-rolling face with steam pouring from its ears.

Apparently LiLo is deeply hurt by Gwyneth Paltrow's recent Glee guest performance, in which Paltrow played a teacher who asked the class in Spanish, "How many times has Lindsay Lohan been to rehab?"

Doesn't seem like much of a burn to me, more like a statement of the obvious—but Lindsay's not taking it well.

We're privy to this reaction thanks to Lindsay's mom Dina, who naturally shared her daughter's private thoughts with because she is a nightmarish famewhore who would happily sacrifice the mental health of her own child in order to get five more minutes of press time with a tabloid:

Lindsay is so upset with Gwyneth. Lindsay was watching it while in Betty Ford, then she called me and was upset and said, "Why did she have to do that?" Lindsay thought she was a friend and it was disappointing. It was really hard for her to watch ... it was hurtful not funny.

It's been a rough week for Lindsay dealing with breaking news from the No-Shit Gazette, it seems. She's also "beyond upset" to be listed as one of 2010's most provocative celebrities.

Dina went on to flap her crazy-hole some more, saying,

2011 is going to be different. We won the E-trade thing, and things are going to be different.

So does that mean every time someone makes fun of Lindsay, they're going to get sued? Because I'd hope that "different" for Lindsay would have something to do with not getting a DUI for a solid 12 months in a row, but hey, the suing thing works too, I guess.

Every time some Lohan scandal hits the news, I end up feeling more and more sorry for Lindsay. With parents like hers, I don't think she ever had a chance.
