Robert Pattinson Wants to Rap With Eminem

Robert Pattinson, better known to Team Edward fans as that sparkling vampire dude from Twilight, once told Oprah that his original dream job was rapping. "I have plenty of recordings," he confessed, undoubtedly sending thousands of teenage girls into paroxysms of ecstasy at the very thought of R-Patz tearing up the mike in his childhood bedroom, rapping about ... uh, being ... I don't know, British and stuff.

Pattinson recently brought up his hip hop background again in an interview with Top of the Pops magazine, discussing his man-love for Eminem.

I was obsessed with Eminem when I was younger. When he first came out I was about 12 and fanatical about his "Slim Shady" CD. I think he’s a genius. [...] I'd love to rap with Eminem! That would be really amazing.


First of all: holy cradle-robbing bloodsuckers, this guy is young. I was 26 when Slim Shady was released. You Twilight kids get off mah damn lawn.

Pattinson admit he wasn't exactly ghetto back in the day:

Most of my rhymes were stolen off other people anyway. They were all like, "I was raised on these streets ..." which was a complete farce because I was actually raised in quite a nice area of London called Barnes. I was obsessed with it all, though. I even had my own little crew -- we called ourselves Big Tub and the Tappy Cats.
