Wiz Khalifa Arrested, Is Lady Gaga Next?

Wiz KhalifaNote to celebrities: If you're going to brag about your illegal drug use and flaunt it to the world, you may get caught. Shocking, but true -- just ask rapper Wiz Khalifa who was arrested last night on drug charges in North Carolina.

What tipped police off and made them search his tour bus for drugs? Oh let's count the possible ways:

1. He bragged about his $10,000-a-month weed habit in an interview.

A great day for me is when I can wake up, get high, and perform for my fans. It's not abnormal for me to spend at least $10,000 a month on weed easily.

2. He launched his own brand of rolling papers last month.

3. He tweeted the following hours before his arrest: "smoke outs in greenville nc tonite. fall thru wit ur finest plant life"

So yeah, talk about probable cause.

What we want to know now is if Lady Gaga is shaking in her crazy shoes?

In the September issue of Vanity Fair, Lady Gaga broke down about her past drug use, but admitted she still does cocaine.

"I won't lie; it's occasional," she told the magazine. "And when I say occasional, I mean maybe a couple of times a year."

So are the cops tailing her too?

What about Ziggy Marley who released "A Fire Burns for Freedom," a pro-cannabis song in support of proposition 19 and spoke out about the prowess of pot:

I would love if everyone enlightened themselves on the many uses and benefits of the plant. A plant that if utilized to its full potential will greatly benefit humankind in the many different aspects of our lives and existence.

So obviously he's toking up, right? Is there a stakeout of his place?

And on and on ... for years celebrities have joked about and even been caught on film in the act with no repercussions. Remember the pictures of Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz sharing a joint a few years back?

Proposition 19 was pretty effective at smoking out a hot list of celebs who could come under suspicion. Of course, there's freedom of speech, but if they spoke out so strongly in favor of it, chances are they favor it themselves once in awhile, right?

Now that it remains illegal, it remains to be seen if other celebrities who admit to drug use publicly will be criminally targeted as well ... or if they'll perhaps realize they're not above the law just because they're famous and at least use a little more discretion when it comes to their illegal activities.

Do you think celebrities who publicly admit to drug use should be investigated?
