Angelina Jolie: Former Dealer Dishes on Her Druggie Past

Some people are just doomed to be chained to their questionable younger years, no matter how much time has gone by and what kind of lifestyle changes they've gone through. Angelina Jolie, for instance, could adopt a thousand more kids, personally end a war through her humanitarian efforts, and become a nun -- and we'll probably still talk about that freaky-ass vial of Billy Bob Thorton's blood she used to wear around her neck.

Her latest embarrassing blast-from-the-past comes in the form of a guy who says he used to be her drug dealer. Franklin Meyer, industrious entrepreneurial spirit that he is, has given an interview with Life & Style magazine in order to discuss Angelina's cocaine and heroin use during the 1990s. Angelina was 21 at the time, and reportedly used to meet him at NYC's Chelsea Hotel to buy drugs.

He told the magazine (presumably while lustfully stroking the giant check they gave him for this scoop):

We'd see each other two to three times a week when she was in town. She would generally spend about $100 each time -- that would buy maybe half a gram of coke and a 10th of a gram of heroin. She would snort the cocaine and the heroin in front of me. It didn't seem to matter to her who else was there.

Meyer goes on to describe how the walls of Angelina's apartment were covered with photos of dead bodies:

I assumed they were real bodies. They were like places or apartments where there were murders. I don't know where someone would get pictures like that.

He also says she was obsessed with the idea of adoption, even back then:

She would say to me, "I think I would really like to adopt a kid." I was shocked .... In the middle of the drugs and the knives, she'd be talking about wanting to adopt a child."

Lastly, he claims Angelina was high on coke in this interview she did on Charlie Rose in 2000:

(Hmmmm. Mayyyybe? There IS kind of a lot of wide-eyed blinking going on here.)

Well, I don't know about you, but I guess I don't see what the huge deal is. Yeah, so Angelina was a wild child who probably did shove all manner of illegal substances up her gorgeously patrician snout once upon a time—so what? She's never denied it, and she appears to be an entirely different person these days.

Why do you think tabloids are so obsessed with Angelina's past? Is it because she seems so overly wholesome now, with her eleventeen kids and all?
