Khloe Kardashian Fears Pregnancy: Did You?

Khloe KardashianKhloe Kardashian is not pregnant, but after a year of marriage, she says she would like to be at some point, and when she is, she has some fears.

She isn't unlike anyone embarking on their first pregnancy. It's such an exciting time, but it's also a time full of questions: How will my life change? How will my body change? Will I be a good mom? Will my life ever be the same?

Obviously, no one can answer these questions, but her fears aren't surprising. In fact, they're likely the most common among pregnancy fears.

They include:

After watching sister Kourtney give birth to son Mason last December, Kardashian tells Us she's worried about the potential pain of labor. "Kourtney made it look easy, but I don't believe it," she tells Us. "I'm scared of the epidural needle in my back!"

Oh wow, I get this one. I was also scared of the epidural, which is why I didn't get one! I wasn't scared of labor, though. Women have been doing it for all of history, so it can't be that bad; otherwise, nobody would have second children. But we're all a little afraid of this one. And honestly, I was more afraid the second time because my first birth had gone so perfectly, I wanted to make sure the second lived up to it!

"I'm scared of gaining weight and not being able to lose it after," says Khloe, who's joked about being "the fat one" among her sisters despite her 20-pound weight loss last year.

This was my biggest fear, too. Gaining weight is scary and depressing, especially for those of us who have worked hard to be thin. But it does come off. If you put your mind to it, it comes off.

Finally, she's nervous about how her offspring would measure up to her adorable nephew Mason, 9 months. "Mason is so good, he never cries! I don't think that could happen twice in the family!"

My children were the first, so that made it easier, but this makes sense. Every baby is an individual and most moms find soon after their baby is born that their baby doesn't need to "live up" to anything. He or she is awesome in his or her own right.

What are your biggest fears?
