Moms everywhere count on applesauce as a smooth and tasty snack food kids of all ages adore. But if you've got some in your pantry or fridge, you'd better read this before serving any this afternoon. Trader Joe's is recalling its applesauce on concerns that pieces of glass may be in the product. Here's what you need to know. 


Trader Joe's is recalling 24-ounce jars of its unsweetened applesauces, including First Crush Unsweetened Gravenstein Apple Sauce, Organic Unsweetened Apple Sauce, and All Natural Unsweetened Apple Sauce. The bar code information is as follows:

The affected products have been removed from the stores' shelves, but if you've purchased any of the items in question, Trader Joe's is urging you to discard them or return them to any Trader Joe's for a full refund.
