Kid's Sweet Letter to Police Department After Deputy Was Slain Is Everything

A rep for the police department said, "Because sometimes a handwritten note from a child is all it takes to keep a deputy's head up during a tragedy."

The sweet note states, "He is probably looking down right now and sees you doing a good job. I hope you will be okay." Are you feeling everything yet? Is this not the most amazing thing you have read recently?

The sheriff's office had the best response to this sweet note. They put out a statement saying, "We cannot bring our fallen brother back, but we will always remember and continue to honor Deputy Goforth. The amount of support shown by this community means so much to the Harris County Sheriff's Office. Thank you. Continue to pray for the Goforth family."
