Amazing Tribute to Slain Marine Will Give You Chills (VIDEO)

The body of Lance Cpl. Skip Wells was laid to rest in Georgia just a week after he was fatally wounded in the Chattanooga shooting, but not before thousands gathered to pay their respect. As Wells's body passed along the interstate in metro Atlanta to his final resting place, the road was lined with friends and strangers alike, wanting to honor him.

The 21-year-old Marine was the youngest victim in the shooting rampage earlier this month in Chattanooga, Tennessee. His body was taken by motorcade from Atlanta's Hartsfield Jackson International Airport to his hometown of Cobb County in an emotional procession.

The city of Marietta even closed off portions of some roads so that people could gather to honor the fallen soldier. About 500 Patriot Guard Riders also joined the procession, and about 2,500 people attended his funeral on Sunday afternoon.

His family and friends shared stories about how he loved to play soldier as a child and always idolized the military. In a life cut so tragically short, it's a small solace that he at least got to achieve that dream. It's obvious that he was an inspiration to many, and our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
