Sexist Health Nuts Rejoice: Strippers Coming to a Juice Bar Near You

For years, the healthiest men in the country have been denied their all-American right to ogle naked women as they sip on their wheatgrass smoothies. But all of that is about to change. The first all-nude juice bar has been proposed along Interstate 80 in Nebraska, just in time for you and your loved ones to plan your annual road trip.

Shane Harrington is the owner of several adult websites. He also appears to be a man who takes his health very seriously, but isn't opposed to merging sexy times with parsley shots. He says he is looking at three locations in Nebraska where he wants to open up alcohol and drug-free juice bar/strip clubs, but judging by people's reactions, it looks like it's going to be an uphill battle.

Church leaders and opposition groups have reportedly flocked to community board meetings to stress how they feel these clubs go against their community's family values. Harrington says he hasn't even purchased the land yet, but that it's a free country and he can't be stopped from opening and operating a legal business.

More from The Stir: Do You Care If Your Man Visits Strip Clubs?

I think he has a point. I'm not a huge fan of strip clubs, but if Harrington thinks this will work and is willing to sink his money into it—assuming the club isn't located close to a residential area—then I don't see how he can be stopped from making it happen.

A better question might be: why would he fight so hard to to make this happen? Is there really that much of a demand for a good, clean juice and dirty times? I would think it would be much more alluring to have an alcoholic beverage and get loose before becoming comfortable enough to let down your guard and enjoy yourself in the presence of naked women, but I may be behind the times on this one.

Also, assuming this takes off, can't a regular old strip club just start offering carrot juice along with Scotch? Maybe Harrington's clubs will all resemble SoCal taco shops, complete with florescent wallpaper and hanging surfboards? I'd be lying if I said I'm not a little curious.

What do you think about the idea of an all-nude juice bar?
