Teen Friends Kill Themselves 48 Hours Apart & Everyone's Asking Why

teen girlsA small Kansas City suburb has been devastated by the suicide of two teens. What makes this particular situation so startling is that the girls were friends, soccer teammates, and killed themselves 48 hours apart.

At just 16, Ciara Marie Web took her life at her home around 4 p.m. on Friday afternoon. Just two days later, on Sunday night, her Olathe Northwest High School peer, Cady Housh, died after stepping in front of a train.

Classmates learned of their deaths during second period on Monday, some of whom were so distraught, they had to go home. Needless to say, the entire community is shocked and the suicides have left everyone asking, "Why?"

It certainly remains a big mystery. Even their social media accounts gave no hint of their emotional troubles. They are seen happy and smiling in photos. Even the day after Ciara's death, Cady had posted a video of the pair, reminiscing about how close they had become in recent years.

I'm going to miss how we would always make fun of each other ... I'm going to miss you Ciara. Soccer season will never be the same without you. ONW will never be the same without you. Rest in peace baby girl.

Then she took her own life days later. Just like that, they were both gone. It's just so unimaginably startling. With any hope, those who loved them will find answers soon.

What do you think could have happened to these girls?
