I have produced prose professionally for most of my adult life, adore alliteration, and prefer to write with an actual pen. Along the way, I have earned a black belt (and a few black eyes) in multi-tasking. In any spare time, I watch copious amounts of reality television and run recreationally to preserve my sanity and out of necessity to keep up with my 9-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter.

While we've suspected it would happen for awhile, this weekend came the official royal word: Prince George will definitely be joining his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, on their journey to New Zealand and Australia. The folks there will be privileged to witness his first public engagements, which will take place between April 7-25.

William's private secretary, Miguel Head, told People the delay in the final decision was to make extra sure that Kate and Will were comfortable with taking the prince, who will be almost 9 months old at the time, on such a big trip. Now they are.

Let's face it, Kim Kardashian is probably never going to win an Oscar. She did, however, get an award this weekend for her acting abilities.

No, it wasn't for her acting on Keeping Up With the Kardashians -- that's real, remember? This was for her role in Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor.

We've heard actors say that their work has changed them in various ways, but never quite like Jamie Dornan says Fifty Shades of Grey changed him. It's an intense film, so it would be hard to come out of playing the lead character completely unchanged, but we never would have expected this.

He talked of the physical transformation when he recently appeared on The Graham Norton Show. As the audience braced for something steamy, Norton assured them, "It isn't as creepy as it sounds." Then Jamie made the big reveal.

Here's something you simply can't imagine until you actually see and hear it for yourself -- Bruce Springsteen, 64, singing teen sensation Lorde's song "Royals." Fans in Auckland, New Zealand, were there to witness the odd feat first-hand at his concert this weekend

With guitar in hand, "The Boss" kicked off the show with it. For the most part, he stuck to the lyrics, but made a few adjustments, such as subbing in, "you can call me king bee." In the crowd, you can hear a mix of laughter, cheers, and seeming bewilderment as to if he was really doing this. But he did, and it was ... Interesting. Watch for yourself and see what you think.
