First, I was an actor for 10 years. Along the way I picked up a great husband & had two boys (7 and 9) whom I adore ... Quit acting for Victoria's Secret corporate, then randomly entered reality television. Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny Ever After, VH1's Couples Therapy ... all that stuff. Wrote a book, Little Kids, Big City and now I am a TV host, writer and make kitchen gadgets, while chasing my family around Brooklyn! I joined the Café Mom world via Coffee Shop Confessions and love it!
Well, we've come to the end of the road -- in more ways than one, but I'll get to that later. Today on The Real Deal, we've got the finale of Bravo's Extreme Guide to Parenting, with what's legitimately extreme, what's not, and all sorts of behind the scenes elements I noticed. Also, a Twitter question and a very big announcement from yours truly!
Gaming the system on reality TV is tricky. Sometimes it works and you win big. Other times ... not so much. On the reunion special of Married at First Sight, it was fascinating to hear what went on behind the scenes, and I think we all have a bit more of a clue as to what happened between Monet Bell and Vaughn Copeland. We also got to catch up with Cortney Hendrix and Jason Carrion as well as Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner. In today's exclusive video, I break it down, as well as an interesting reality TV comparison.
OK, there's church and there's CHURCH. I found myself scratching my head while watching this week's episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Now, I have no problem with filming weddings, christenings, maybe even funerals -- although RHONYSonja Morgan's doggie funeral didn't involve high mass. But Ash Wednesday? Even this heathen wondered about that. But there's much, much more to discuss about season 6, episode 9 in today's exclusive video below.
Hey hey, it's Friday and it's The Real Housewives of Lockup. I mean, Atlanta. Or New Jersey. Or parents who should be locked up. Oh hell, I'm confused now. Is it too early to start drinking? Well ... in today's exclusive video, we examine Bravo's Extreme Guide to Parenting, episode 5, as well as the Apollo Nida prison surrender and whether that was captured (no pun intended) for The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Also, Teresa Giudice is being prevented from cashing in on a post-sentencing interview after she and her husband learn their fate on October 2. I've got ALL that juice and more in today's video below.
This week, we saw two 30-minute episodes of TLC's 19 Kids and Counting, and I continue to marvel at how sharp and together the Duggar family is with their handling of media, family news, and show promotion. These guys are GOOD. In today's exclusive episode below, I take on what makes the Duggars so relatable and an insight into the WHY behind Michelle's agreement to have 19 children.
