First, I was an actor for 10 years. Along the way I picked up a great husband & had two boys (7 and 9) whom I adore ... Quit acting for Victoria's Secret corporate, then randomly entered reality television. Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny Ever After, VH1's Couples Therapy ... all that stuff. Wrote a book, Little Kids, Big City and now I am a TV host, writer and make kitchen gadgets, while chasing my family around Brooklyn! I joined the Café Mom world via Coffee Shop Confessions and love it!
Wow, in Housewives land, Kenya Moore took center stage, whether she was crying over her dog, waving a magic wand in Porsha Stewart's face on the reunion preview, or teaming up with Kate Gosselin. We have the return of Orange County with new blood, the Beverly Hills ladies on New York, and the Dalai Lama. Well, not really.
There's an interesting phenomenon on reality television called "You Can Do No Right," and we saw it on both The Real Housewives of Atlanta as well as New York this week. Whether it was Kenya Moore or Aviva Drescher, even at their most heartbreaking moments, viewers don't seem to like (or believe) them. In this week's exclusive video below, we dish on that plus Beverly Hills, the return of Orange County, and the Kim Kardashian and Kanye West wedding troubles!
Personally, I think Gwyneth Paltrow should do a show with Dance Moms' Abby Lee Miller. I'd watch that. Would you? In today's exclusive video, we've got Kenya Moore claiming SHE paid for TheReal Housewives of Atlanta Mexico trip, what I think REALLY went down between Brandi Glanville and Lisa Vanderpump, New York City's newest friend-of-the-HousewivesAmanda Sanders, and so much more.
There was so much reality goodness this week, between Kim Kardashian, Kenya Moore, Brandi Glanville, and Lisa Vanderpump, not to mention Dancing With the Stars, that I almost forgot about New York City. LOL, just kidding. Could you believe Kelly Bensimon's fight with Carole Radziwill? Oh, wait ... that wasn't Kelly? Sorry, KKB. You would never have done that and I know it. So who would? Riiiight, Aviva Drescher.
Sit down and grab a drink, because I've got s**t to say. It might surprise you.
I think we have to start calling it Housewives' Land. I don't remember ever having THREE franchises airing at once, but it's a BIG commitment for fans. Between The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the Beverly Hills reunion part 1, and New York City, not to mention NeNe Leakes' turn on Dancing With the Stars, there wasn't time to watch anything else!! I do, however, have some Orange County and New Jersey gossip to add.
