We all do it -- take selfies to share our experiences and expressions with others on social media in the coolest way posible. But there is a time and a place for everything ... because sometimes selfies take a tragic turn and result in severe injuries or even death.

Here are 10 selfie situations that went horribly, terribly wrong. Do not try any of these at home.

In 2014, a Spanish man was electrocuted in Andujar, Andalusia, when he climbed on top of a train to take a selfie. The train was parked, but the cables were still connected and electrified. He was unfortunately killed instantly and thrown from the train top.
