Police Issue Arrest Warrant for 'Frozen's' Queen Elsa

We're all cold and we need someone to blame. Police in Kentucky have found the perfect culprit: she's powerful, strong-willed, a proud fugitive, and doesn't give a flip if we're all buried for an eternity beneath piles of snow. The Harlan City Police Department has been left with little choice than to issue an arrest warrant for Frozen's Queen Elsa.

We've seen several examples in recent weeks of people who are losing their damn minds over the extremely cold temperatures we've been facing and the constant snowfall. People are trapped inside with only their computers, TV, and summer fantasies to keep them from going berserk. Harlan City thought it would have a little fun by posting this message on its Facebook wall:

Cops never expected their post to receive more than 6,500 likes and to then be shared more than 13,000 times (there are fewer than 2,000 folks living in Harlan).

Temperatures in Harlan have been hovering between 20 and a balmy 30 degrees and, like several other places across the country, these poor folks are getting used to hearing the words "winter storm warning."

Police followed up their Elsa joke with a very real Facebook warning: "All kidding aside, the weather has been very dangerous and temps will get worse. Everyone please take precautions to stay safe and warm. Stay off the roads unless it is an emergency. Watch out and help others who may need help. HPD is doing a great job during this time but it takes everyone working together."

The Duke of Weselton said it best: "If we don't do something soon, we'll all freeze to death."

What are you doing to take your mind off the cold this winter?
