Thief Robs Liquor Store Owner Using Stunningly Bizarre Method (VIDEO)

This has got to be the most bizarre robbery of all time. A man in London was caught on surveillance video entering a liquor store and approaching the owner. He says a few words to him, shakes his fingers, makes some quick gestures around the stomach and the man seems to freeze and go into a trance. Then the thief rifles through his pockets, steals some cash, and then touches the man on the shoulder and he "wakes up." Police say he hypnotized the shopkeeper.

Honestly, I would think this was a staged video except that London police are circulating it in hopes of finding the hypno-thief.

The 56-year-old owner says he was "stunned" by the out-of-this-world method of thievery. After he awoke out of the trance, he realized what happened and tried to chase after the guy but it was too late.

And strangely, another man stands in the store watching the entire thing unfold but does nothing. Perhaps he too was hypnotized or he thought the scene was so strange he didn't know what to make of it.

Honestly, I've always thought hypnosis was a load of tosh. I've been to a couple of large events where hypnotists bring entire audiences under their spell and people run on stage, dance, and do all kinds of crazy things. But I never felt a thing. I always figured the people who fell under the spell were just playing around, trying to get attention.

So this is weird. And scary! I mean, what else can that guy do with that kind of power? Could he rape women, steal children, what? Since he reportedly relieved the man of hundreds of dollars, he is obviously not using his power for good. Why doesn't he rescue victims from ISIS or something?

Since police are taking this seriously, I am too, I just can't believe this could happen, and in such a short amount of time. The guy just basically flicked his wrist! Given his skills, you'd think he could making millions on TV, why's doing this?

I hope the CIA gets ahold of this guy and convinces him to use his powers for the betterment of mankind or something! Take a look:

Have you ever been hypnotized?
