Car Crash Goes From Bad to Worse When Thousands of Bees Attack Drivers (VIDEO)

It's bad enough being involved in a car accident. Even a minor one becomes a headache when you have to exchange phone numbers and details about your insurance companies with a perfect stranger. But two women in California had the ultimate worst driving experience of their lives today when they collided in a simple two-car crash that quickly devolved into a scene from a horror film. One of the drivers hit a tree, which brought down one of its limbs -- and a massive hidden bee hive. What happened next sounds like it was pulled straight from the pages of a horror film script.

While standing outside of their vehicles to exchange information, the 51-year-old female driver and 17-year-old girl were reportedly attacked by the swarm of angry bees. The teen was stung about 50 times, while the other woman suffered from more than 1,000 bee stings! Witnesses say she jumped into a nearby backyard pool to get relief from the pain, while the young girl was found on the street covered in bees and had to be sprayed with a fire extinguisher in order to get them off of her.

Both women were treated at a hospital and the bee hive has since been removed by a pest control company.

Being stung by even one bee is enough to make you feel like your skin is on fire. I can't even imagine what these poor women went through during this horrifying ordeal. At the very least, I hope they bonded enough to be able to make light of the actual car crash, which now sounds like small potatoes.

Here's video footage of how the scene of the accident appeared while a rescue team attempted to help out:

Have you ever been involved in a nightmarish incident involving bees or other insects?
