My sister and I were opposites all the way. One day it was school pictures. I didn't have anything suitable, I asked my sis if I could borrow a top.She had a part time job and always bought the hottest shoes and clothes. I ended up wearing my old brown sweater with a hole in it. As I was putting my makeup on, she banged the door and mirror at me. The makeup ended up on my sweater. She was all ladee dah, to bad I would look like crap on the pic. I cornered into a corner @home and going/threatening to kill her. I put some nasty claw marks on her, then my dad pulled me off. To this day we barely get along. Makes me said but that's life.
I have used written rules with set consequences (from Family Rules) for about a month and a half and it does seem to be better. They don't yell near as much, the hitting (when I am right there) is way down, and the name-calling has all but stopped.
