Some of the big retailers are slashing prices on these games right now. A quick search turned up the classic Operation for $10 at amazon. I love playing this game with my 6 year old. It helps with his dexterity and hand-eye coordination, and it's so much fun to get grossed out over the burp and bone and other body parts.
"I buy them for my 8 year old nephew," says KierstynsMom. "He gets to interact and learn something. My daughter, who is only 3, loves the game Candyland. She plays it with my nephew. Board games are a great gift especially for multiples. Why not buy a board game for all of them to play?"

I always do the itunes gift cards for my boys bc they love getting them, but I have also done McDonald's & even Starbucks gift cards bc they love the hot chocolate & goodies that they have, blockbuster gift cards are another one my boys love to get bc this means that they don't have to hear me say...I am not paying $7.99 to rent that game & buying you that pop, etc. I will say, that I have managed to find Hurley zip up hoodies at Sam's Club recently for $9.81 for my boys! Talk about a STEAL!
