Need a way to entertain the kids this summer? Look no farther than NatureFind.com. This easy-to-use Web resource will help you plan a fun outdoor adventure that's both inexpensive and close to home.

NatureFind.com was designed to help people "find nature nearby." Just input your zip code or city, and the site spits out a list of area parks, nature centers, preserves, aquariums, botanical gardens, trails, forests, zoos and more, as well as local nature events like nature walks, canoe trips, star gazing, etc.

I used it and found a nature center and preserve located four miles from my home that I didn't even know was there!

Thanks for posting this great site, Cafe Kim. I just used it and found SIX nature preserves I didn't know about within 10 miles of my home. Now I know what the kids and I will be doing this holiday weekend ...
