Just input your zip code or city, and the site spits out a list of area parks, nature centers, preserves, aquariums, botanical gardens, trails, forests, zoos and more, as well as local nature events like nature walks, canoe trips, star gazing, etc.
I used it and found a nature center and preserve located four miles from my home that I didn't even know was there!
