When I asked if moms let their kids play with toy guns, it didn't dawn on me to also ask about real ones.
In Peoria, Illinois, a 13-year-old boy walked in a bank, pulled out a gun and walked away with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police say he then fled the bank with a bag full of cash. Unfortunately for him, he didn't realize the money bag had a red dye-package that eventually exploded all over the cash--and the kid. The cops found him about 30 minutes later covered in the dye.
Talk about getting caught red-handed.
Should the law take it easy on this juvenile? Or should he be tried as an adult?
