It may seem too early to start thinking about holiday shopping, but trust us on this one: it's really never too early. Whether we like it or not, the holidays are on their way and that means it's time for the kids to start working on those wish lists. Luckily, there's a way for parents to get ahead of the game and start scoping out must-have items long before Black Friday. Amazon just released its annual list of the 100 hottest toys predicted to be the "it" gifts for kids during the 2018 holiday season. The list features best-sellers, exciting new favorites, and yet-to-be-released finds that kids are going to go wild for this year.

Is it a little early for holiday gift hunting? Maybe. But getting started early has its advantages. For one, nothing is sold out yet. There will be no rushing on fruitless trips to the big box stores or getting sad "out of stock" notifications online when browsing these finds. Plus, figuring out the hottest toys of the season gives parents plenty of time to plan and save so they can be sure to nab the things their kids are really wanting.
