    "It's just an art for me. I just don't see it as negative," Mason said.

  • Luckily, Mason has the support of her community.

    Dozens of people commented on Facebook that they thought the school letting her go was uncalled for.

  • And many pointed out that it wouldn't even be necessary if they paid teachers enough.

  • Mason noted that it wasn't even a parent of a student at the school who reported it. 

    "It was someone that was being malicious and pretty much trying to make me out to be a bad person," she said.

    Mason's case will hopefully go in front of the school board, where officials will determine the fate of her employment.
