She was hoping her mom would be Vice-President elect right now, but that's probably the farthest thing from 18-year-old Bristol Palin's mind now that she has given birth to baby boy. According to People.com, the eldest Palin girl gave birth on Saturday to a healthy 7 lb., 4 oz., baby boy in Palmer, Alaska.
The baby's name is Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston, according to People's source.
Palin and her fiance Levi Johnston said previously that they were planning to marry sometime in 2009.

Thats when I had my first child. At least she isn't raising him alone like I did.
When a mom is pure of heart and has the best intentions she can be 18 or 25 or 45.
I don't think it's ideal, and personally am glad I didn't become a mom at 18. But many women do and are absolutely amazing women!!

well it depends is 15 a good age to become a mom , age is a no my daughter become a mom at 15 and she is now 28 and own her own busness and is doing very well for her self
When you have Money it doesnt really matter, if she sucks at motherhood, she can hire a nanny.
I dont understand why people make such a big deal about a 18 year old having a child. Just because you or the next person waited for a while to have one does not mean that it is bad. 18 is considered and Adult so if she wants to make that decision let her dont bash her and the rest of the people that are 18 and pregnant. Or younger.
I'm 18 now (19 in a few wks) and am proud of it. Iv come far in my short life and my daughters are every thing to me. My priority in our lives is them and making our life for us. Im at university and working, I own my own home and car. My children are better loved and cared for than alot of older mums i know.
I think that Moms of any age can be good or bad. Most 18 yr old girls are to immature and self-centered to be a parent. Ideally, women should enjoy their own youth before they (if they're in the good category) spend all their time taking care of another person. Yet, to each her own. Life's tough, you make choices, then you live with the consequences. I say it the (bad Moms) ones who don't live up to their responsibilities that are the losers in life. So, pray for her.
Palin will do fine ... she has great family support and that is something I didn't have.

i just cant get over the baby's name, no i dont think that 18 is a good age to have a baby, one most 18 year olds are to selfish to care about anyone but themselves and their wants. the only reason why i state this is the fact that their are a lot of girls out their that get pregnant at a young age and regret it for the fact that they did not get to enjoy their youth. not only that but when you around 18 to 21 is when you are establishing who you are in this life and finding out what you believe in and what you want out of life. having a baby messses that up.
