Mom's #HisNameIsCayden Gives Adults Who Bullied Her 4-Year-Old the Punishment They Deserve (VIDEO)

What would you do if you discovered your son was the butt of racist jokes by someone at your job? Sydney Jade had no idea her coworker "Geris Hilton" felt some kind of way about her little boy as he posted a pic of him and 3-year-old Cayden without the mom's permission for others to inappropriately enjoy.

Obviously "Geris" (his real name is Gerod Roth) had no issue with his actions, and neither did the people who took time to poke fun at Cayden in such an unthinkable way -- referring to him as "feral," "Kunta Kente," "Toby," and other horrific names (it also doesn't appear that Geris/Gerod checked commenters who made these remarks).

This should definitely make every hair stand in both anger and disgust.

Let's just back up a moment and allow one awful truth to sink in: Sydney was clueless that her colleague not only took a photo of her son (Cayden often goes to his mom's job after school) -- obviously without her permission -- but also did so weeks before it ever came on the radar (try September 16). Since news broke about Geris's post, the hashtag #HisNameIsCayden was created to stand up for this beautiful little boy, and to show this type of treatment won't be tolerated.

Apparently, Michael Da Graca Pinto, the president of Gerod's company, didn't like what happened -- and had no problem getting on Facebook to give his own two cents ... after he fired Gerod (others who made comments have reportedly been fired by their employers).

As for Sydney, Cayden's mother, she had the perfect response to such vile treatment of her almost-4-year-old boy (Cayden's birthday is this month).

This enrages me as I can't even fathom any person taking the time out of his or her day to do something like this, especially a grown adult! You have to be a special kind of person to think this behavior is OK -- and not believe it won't come to light. I commend those who came forward and contacted Sydney about this issue surrounding her son (Ife Johari has been pivotal in sharing this story).

You don't have to be Cayden's mother to understand actions like this -- including the use of racist "jokes" -- do everything to spew hatred and cause dissension. We need to be better, and we need to do better, for the sake of our children who are watching us (they often follow our example, not what we say). There needs to be more light spread in order to silence those who harbor feelings like this in their heart. I can only hope this incident will make us all think twice about the words that come out of our mouths and the things we publicly share.

In case you're wondering, a local news outlet in Atlanta, Georgia, caught up with Gerod and Sydney to discuss the issue. He claims it's all a big misunderstanding, while Sydney is still in shock that adults would show such atrocious behavior toward a 3-year-old.
