How Angelina Jolie's Kids Stole the Show at Her Wedding to Dad Brad

Awww! 5

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie tapped into their Mr. & Mrs. Smith roots and pulled off the impossible: Brangelina got married under the celeb radar and gave their kids starring roles.

After nine years together, a two-year engagement, and six kids ... it was definitely time to make it official. Brad and Angelina's unconventional journey to the altar probably made the ceremony even sweeter because they were surrounded by their beloved children.

Jolie was walked down the aisle by her two eldest sons, Maddox, 13, and Pax, 11. Daughters Sahara, 9, and Vivienne, 6, threw rose petals. Their other daughter, Shiloh, 8, served as ring bearer alongside brother Knox, 6. Kudos to Brangelina again for being open-minded parents who embrace their kids' individual preferences and personalities.

Even the setting was incredibly meaningful for the family. Brad and Angie got married at Chateau Miraval in the village of Correns, France. They settled there back in 2008 and did extensive renovations to the property to make it their own. The whole wedding seems so intimate, so perfect ... beyond worth the wait.

There's nothing like the feeling of saying "I do" in front of family and friends. What guests most remember about weddings is that overwhelming feeling of love when they share in something so beautiful. Imagine having the honor of your children by your side to witness it all? The wedding becomes a part of the family tapestry, a lovely memory stitched in their minds. Instead of looking at mom and dad's wedding album, they are in the wedding album. Is there a greater gift?

Did you involve your kids in your wedding?

Their daughter's name is Zahara, just an FYI. Probably a spell check error, but you may want to correct it.

Our eldest was 2 when we married.  SHe walked down the aisle in front of me with her flower petals.  Our favorite wedding pictures are with her in it.  WE had been together 7 years and pregnant with child 2 when we decided to get married (for insurance purposes)...We ar on 12 years (5 married).

Call me crazy, but No, my kids weren't involved in any part of my wedding, seeing as how I was marrying their Father, and THEY WEREN'T BORN YET!! Crazy, I know, but that's what we were, two whacked out LUNATICS who did the whole, get engagede, get married, THEN have totally backwards lol....I think it is a lovely thing to include children in a ceremony, because they are part of the family, but, for the most part don't the children come AFTER the wedding, unless it's not a first marriage? Or did I miss something? ;P They are a beautiful family!!! All loving families are :) ♡♡
