While most of our kids roll their eyes at the thought of going back to school, let's be honest -- it's pretty much one big party for most moms!

Sure, summer is great and all, but you know what's even better? Getting back into a daily routine where things are predictable and organized. Oh -- and having a little more free time to do things for ourselves that prove to be a bit tough during the summer months isn't half bad either!

Here's a fun little rundown of just how much going to back to school differs from a kid's perspective versus a mom's.

Do you get excited when the kids go back to school?

1 minute of my life that I'll never get back. This was so awful...

While these may be true for stay at home moms I find most of them untrue for me. I work full time add on top of that getting the kids up, dressed, and fed, plus making sure they have all their books and homework in their backpacks before leaving for work. Come home, cook dinner, go through backpack, sign papers, make sure homework is done and help where needed, make sure the kids are bathed and in bed at a decent hour, cleanup after dinner, go to bed, wake up and repeat. No, I am not looking forward to school starting again!

I'm a sahm and none of these are true for me. I am really enjoying my summer with all my kids and don't want it to end. I am dreading the start of the school year. I will have to get my kindergartner up, fed and ready as well my 2 and 4 year olds and drag them out and drive for 35 minutes to the school and then head back with my 2 youngest. Then it's business as usual and then at 1:30 I will have to put them in the car again and make the same commute all over again. Then help with homework while still taking care of my other kids. No thanks! I love summer.

The girls and I have fun and I love not having such a rigid routine during the summer. I'll be sad when they go back to school!

My son has never had an issue getting out of bed whether it be Summer vacation or during school. Also, I hate when back to school time rolls around.

These don't apply to us.

I dreaded my daughter going back to school. She was always a pain in the butt getting up in the morning.
