Ever had one of those days you wish you could quit being a mom? You know the kind -- the house is a mess, kids are acting like total terrors, and your darling hubby is no help at all. Welcome to the world of work-at-home mom Brenna Jennings. Making a spoof of Marina Shifrin's viral video hit, "I Quit," Jennings crafts what could be a rallying cry for all overworked, underappreciated moms.
Also set to Kanye West's "Gone," this is totally hilarious. Take a look:
"When I saw Marina's video, the first thing I thought was that she reminded me of younger me," Jennings, a blogger, told the Huffington Post. "And I wished I'd had the smarts and moves to quit my first horrible soul-sucking job the way she did (though back then we still faxed things, so it may not have been possible)."
I do have one small quibble with Jennings' parody, though. Her house doesn't look like that much of a disaster area. If that is the biggest mess her kids make, she's in good shape, don't you think?
Have you ever felt like quitting mommy duty -- even just for one day?
