6 Essential Back-to-School Hairstyle Tips & Timesavers!

This is a sponsored post by Just for Me.

Back-to-school time means a fresh start, from blank notebooks and empty folders to brand-new outfits. And shouldn’t your child’s hair get the “fresh start” treatment, too? Just for Me®Hair Milk is a completely new line of hair-care products designed to make styling naturally curly and wavy textured hair easier so kids will look great and feel confident, too. Are you ready to forget bath-time tears and morning hairstyling hassles? Here’s how:

1.) Start with the Nourishing Cream Cleanser and you’ll see (and feel!) the difference right away: The lather is so rich, all five of your fingers will easily run through your child’s hair while you wash it. It’s made with natural ingredients like soy milk, shea butter, and honey to leave naturally tight, curly, or wavy textured hair completely smooth and manageable. Visit #5fingertest on Instagram to see other moms take the test, and upload your own experience!

2.) Next, spray your child’s hair with the Nourishing Detangler, which can be used on wet or dry hair to smooth every strand and protect against breakage and damage.

3.) Finally, use a little Curl Smoother to control frizz and leave curls bouncy, soft, and beautifully defined. Touch up and tame flyaways at the hairline with the Smoothing Edges Crème, a gentle, alcohol-free product with medium hold.

Want to save even more time in the morning?

1.) Pick out accessories the night before. Any little girl will tell you that headbands, elastics, barrettes, and clips are crucial wardrobe selections! Have her get them ready (and coordinate with her outfit) before bedtime if she wants to change them in the morning.

2.) Keep brushes and combs handy. Having them in the bathroom is a no-brainer, but stashing an extra set in a spot near the front door makes last-minute touch-ups faster.

3.) Set a timer. If your little one likes to spend too much time primping, a kitchen timer or even the alarm function on your smartphone will let him or her know when style time is up!

DD hates having her hair done. I like to put it in a pony tail or braid for school (helps prevent her from getting lice!!)--but she is usually resistant. Ugh.
