  • Leggings

Leggings are a god-send for little girls. They're cute; they're great for running around; and they're quick to throw in the wash and then pop in the dryer. J.Crew has tons of adorable patterns for girls' leggings, and they're all around $30.

  • Raincoat

A cute raincoat doesn't need to only be worn during a torrential downpour. It's the perfect "in-between season" jacket, and bonus, it works for the rain. Gap has a few stylish raincoats for boys at around $50. Perfect for playing outside during recess or for throwing on over a sweater and jeans.

  • Printed Dress

A light, printed dress is perfect for September, when the weather is still warm, and it still works during the cooler months with a thick pair of tights, boots, and a cardigan.

This one from American Apparel isn't only adorable, it's just $28!

  • The Perfect Sneaker

A pair of versatile shoes, like this one from Enrico Fantini, is great for decluttering -- and for not having to fight with your boy about putting on "nice" shoes. This pair is a little pricey at $79, but they're so cute, and they pretty much would go with anything.

  • The Perfect Shoe

For girls, this pair from Anniel ($75), will literally go with anything. Jeans, leggings, shirts, dress, you name it. And they come in purple, too! Too cute.

  • Plaid Shirt

What little guy doesn't need a plaid shirt? Not only are they perfect when he needs something a little dressier, plaid shirts couldn't be cooler. Old Navy has a few great styles, and at $10 a pop, you may want to get two!
