Oh for cute -- Honey Boo Boo just tried "real" sketti for the first time in her life! She and Mama June went to a fancy-pants restaurant in Beverly Hills called Villa Blanca. Did we mention it's owned by Real Housewives' Lisa Vanderpump? It's reality TV magic right here, folks! Check out the adorable gif People made of Alana slurping up spaghetti noodles with glee.
Whether you think Honey Boo Boo is the Fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse or just a harmless little kid, you have to admit: These photos of her eating spaghetti are just pure joy. Who cares if she's using her fingers? Isn't that how we should all be eating it?
In the photos I've seen, it looks like June is paying more attention to talking business with a man in a suit -- possibly their agent or a TV exec, is my guess -- than to Alana's eating. I hope she caught a glimpse of her daughter, though.
Don't you love watching your kids enjoy eating food? Maybe it's just me, but that's one of parenting's greatest pleasures. When I plunk down a dish my son doesn't just accept, but LOVES -- it makes me feel so happy to watch my him truly relish his food. I stop caring about whether or not he's got his napkin or if he's holding the fork right. Or if he's even using a fork!
I'm sure June's got some serious business on her mind with their visit to Los Angeles. She's got her kids' future in mind, and she's got to parlay their fleeting fame into something that could last long after Honey Boo Boo's charm wears off. But I hope she got just a brief moment to enjoy seeing her daughter enjoy a new food adventure.
Do you love watching your kids eat with enthusiasm?

I'm glad she enjoyed it, but by age 6-7, I would expect at least some table manners...
What do you mean "real" spaghetti? What kind of fake spaghetti was she eating before?
What is fake spaghetti? Are you implying that since they have no class, they have never eaten "real" food before? I really don't get what you are saying. And as far as her eating with her fingers, I can see letting your kids get away with that at home but in a restaurant, NO WAY!!!
What a bunch of freaks, stay home an for gods sake get on a diet. All i see is hi blood pressure, heart trouble an diabetic troubles for the whole pack.
What i never understood its the fact that spaghetti sauce isn't exactly expensive. You can buy a jar for like 2 bucks...
