Before you had kids, you never imagined that one day you'd be waking up at the crack of dawn to frost cupcakes you stayed up half the night baking, did you? Yup, it's just another one of those crazy things we do as moms, particularly when you maybe sorta forget about making cupcakes to send into school for our child's birthday until the last minute. Hey, it happens!
And we deal. Because we're moms. BUT could the average man accomplish the same fantastic feat? That very question inspired the latest episode of CafeMom Studios' Mom vs. Man with Lauren O'Quinn: Man vs. Cupcake.
And I bet you think know the answer, don't you? I bet you're thinking something along the lines of "Heck no, the average man couldn't accomplish the same fantastic feat! Or maybe he could, but the cupcakes would come out looking like a drunken sailor with a blindfold was the baker!"

My point exactly, jessicasmom. Neither my wife nor I are very good with fancy frosting, so we would buy them. There is more than one way to get perfectly frosted cupcakes, and I am sure that there are mothers, who, like my wife, are not able to turn out a cupcake with perfect frosting. Most of these "Mom vs. Man" challenges make me roll my eyes because they seem to presume that men are incapable of doing these things simply because of their gender.
My husband is meticulous when it comes to stuff like that. He doesn't mind frosting cakes, cupcakes, or cookies. He often does a TON better than I do.
