milaniaI think the population of people who dislike Teresa Giudice from The Real Housewives of New Jersey outweighs the population of people who do like Teresa Giudice from The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Right? I mean, she doesn't exactly exude class and/or kindness; she seems awfully materialistic; and she constantly seems to be caught up in a web of her own lies. It really isn't a wonder that people talk smack about the reality star, or that she's become tabloid fodder. However, leave her 5-year-old daughter, Milania, the f**k out of it.

Monday night, somebody from Bravo posted a photo of Teresa's daughter to The Real Housewives of New Jersey Facebook page, asking people to share if they missed her from the episode. What followed is insane. Over a thousand comments were written -- not anonymously! -- calling Milania a "troll," a "bitch," and a "brat." Some even said they wanted to "whip the shit" out of her.

Disliking castmembers of reality shows is one thing. These men and women go on television and act like buffoons, more or less inviting criticism. But their children are an entirely different story. None of these kids asked to be on TV. And even if they did, who cares? They're kids. No 5-year-old, famous or not, should ever be called a "bitch" or told she needs a "brow wax." What transpired on the RHONJ fan page is nothing short of disgusting and completely inappropriate. And these are grown adults writing these things, too! Some who, most likely, have children of their own.

If you're not a fan of Teresa and Joe Giudice's ways, fine. Get in line. But leave her young daughter the hell out of it.
